How were lives like in Japan
Employment rate increase
- Many people were employed due to the expansion of building programmes.
- Young men were ordered to participate in one year of military service, this reduces unemployment and at the same time lessen their financial burden.
- Culture change, women were given opportunity to work. This increases the workforce of Japan, hence helping it's economy recover.

Education being controlled
- Japanese children were given 6 years of compulsory free schooling, this allows the Japanese children to be educated and hence have more talents. This also relieved the financial burden to Japanese families who plans on sending their children to school. The free education also equipped the children with necessary basic skills to contribute to the country. (eg. Economy)
- Military training were held, these training brainwashed the children with tradition ideas of self-sacrifice and total obedience. This allows the Japanese military to have a ready supply of patriotic soldiers who's willing to lay down their lives for the benefits of Japan.

Suppressing opposition
- Peace Preservation Law were established, this allows the government to arrest and imprison anyone who can post danger to the government or who were critical of the government suppressing political freedom and allowing the military to gain more power and act unopposed.
- People who were critical of the government also lost their jobs, this suppressed the peoples' freedom even more as they were unable to force out their unhappiness, else their daily lives will be affected.
